What is ShipStation Connector?
ShipStation Connector is a Looker Studio connector that helps to connect Looker Studio with ShipStation and use it as a data source in Looker Studio.
ShipStation Connector turns your data into informative dashboards and reports that are easy to read, easy to share, and fully customizable.
What is ShipStation?
ShipStation is a SaaS (Software as a Service) shipping platform that allows you to manage all your small parcel and LTL shipping needs in one place.
ShipStation also provides tools to manage your shipping workflow, track your processes to eliminate confusion and mistakes, and use powerful automation to minimize how much manual work you actually have to do.
How does it work?
Step 1: Choose the “ShipStation” connector from Google Looker Studio Partner Gallery
Step 2: Click on the 'AUTHORIZE' button for authorizing your Google account.
Step 3: Once you are authorized to google account, then you need to authorize for third-party service. In this case, ShipStation.
Step 4: Enter your ShipStation username and password to authorize your ShipStation account.
Step 5: Enter API key as the username and API Secret as the password.
How to get API key and API Secret
Go to your ShipStation dashboard, and click on the setting icon from the menu bar.
You will see setting option which is available there. And Select the Account.
Select API Setting from the Account dropdown list.
You will see API keys. If you haven't yet generated any API keys.
Click on Generate API keys or use existing one for authorizing with connector.
Step 6: Choose the Object you want to use.
Step 7: Click on the 'Connect' button.
Step 8: The available fields from the Object are listed.
Step 9: Use this as a data source and continue normally with designing your report in Looker Studio.
Step 10: Click on the 'Create Report' button.
Step 11: You can customize the dashboard as you want.
